tl;dr:

  • Forknet mainnet is live: a CDK OP Stack L2 on Agglayer with a native crosschain orderbook for spot and perps.
  • Unified liquidity: connected to Agglayer for deeper books, tighter spreads, and fewer bridging headaches.
  • Built for builders: EVM-compatible, CDK-OP-Stack-familiar, and interop-native. Teams can list once and reach users across chains.
  • Vault Bridge–enabled: Forknet will leverage Vault Bridge for generating protocol-native revenue on bridge deposits of ETH, USDC, USDT, and USDS

Today, we’re excited to announce that Forknet is live on mainnet: a CDK OP Stack L2 on Agglayer. By leveraging Reactor Trade, Forknet introduces a native crosschain orderbook DEX with dynamic perps and staking aggregator.

Forknet’s brings a seamless experience of crosschain spot and perpetual trading.

Unlike isolated DEXs, Forknet treats the Agglayer ecosystem as one unified venue, where orders can be matched and filled by liquidity from any connected chain. The result: seamless crosschain trading, deeper liquidity, and strategies that used to take five transactions and two bridges that now feel easy and seamless.

Purpose-built for high-performance DeFi, AI, and DePIN, Forknet combines the proven scalability of CDK OP Stack with Agglayer’s ZK-powered interoperability, delivering fast, low-cost transactions secured by cryptographic proofs.

Developers get full EVM compatibility and support for Ethereum’s latest upgrades, while users gain transparent price discovery, efficient execution, and unified liquidity across chains.

Backed by NeurochainAI’s 500K+ user ecosystem, Forknet enters mainnet with immediate network effects and a clear mission to make crosschain trading as seamless as single-chain DeFi.

And by leveraging Vault Bridge, user deposits on Forknet will earn protocol-native yield, providing the chain with predictable revenue that grows alongside TVL. More than $1.5M in revenue has streamed into Katana, another Aggchain built with CDK OP Stack, in the three months since launch.

Forknet’s value prop: Native crosschain orderbook

At the trading layer, Forknet introduces a native, crosschain orderbook that uses Reactor Trade as the frontend. A limit order placed on Forknet isn’t confined to one chain’s liquidity; it can be filled by assets from any Agglayer-connected network.

For market makers, that means a single capital deployment can serve orders across the ecosystem.

For traders, it means deeper books, tighter spreads, and best execution—without the hassle of bridges or fragmented pools.

Built with the CDK OP Stack, developers can deploy without friction on a proven rollup framework with full EVM compatibility and a fast path from idea to production. Tap into the scale and performance of a modern L2, combined with Agglayer’s connective tissue

What this means for DeFi power users

Forknet is custom-built to usher in an evolution of DeFi. With its advanced orderbook, Katana users will be seamlessly connected to the X Layer ecosystem, with the feel of a single environment.

  • Unified liquidity, better pricing: Your order can be filled by liquidity from any Agglayer-connected chain—so you see deeper books and tighter spreads.
  • Lower operational drag: Fewer bridges, fewer swaps, fewer steps. Forknet handles cross-chain coordination behind the scenes.
  • Serious infra, battle-tested stack. Built with CDK OP Stack for speed and out-of-the-box integrations, connected to Agglayer for ZK-powered, trust-minimized interop.

For developers and market makers

  • Familiar tools. If you build for Ethereum, you build for Forknet. Tooling, libraries, and mental models carry over.
  • Single deployment, multi-chain reach. List once, serve order flow sourced from across Agglayer.
  • Composable by default. Integrate Forknet’s orderbook and cross-chain routing via clean APIs; design products that treat Agglayer as one market.

What you can do at launch

  • Trade spot and perps on a native orderbook DEX—with transparent price discovery and advanced order types.
  • Bring assets from your preferred chain, and access liquidity sourced across Agglayer without the usual friction.
  • Build like you’re on Ethereum, deploy with OP-Stack familiarity, and tap Agglayer’s interop from day one.

Security-first mindset

Forknet inherits battle-tested OP Stack code and leverages Agglayer’s cryptography-first approach to interoperability, designed so that no single chain can compromise another.

You get the scale and speed of a modern L2, with an interop layer engineered for safety and finality.
